PSI Automation, Inc. Joins Economic Development Foundation
PSI Automation, Inc. (PSI) has joined the Clear Lake Area Economic Development Foundation (CLAEDF). PSI's Vice
President Gary Brownfield said, "We chose to become CLAEDF members so that we may be active supporters of
our community, and to become a part of an organization that is truly dedicated to the growth of the Clear Lake
region."
In operation for 10 years, PSI is a manufacturer and distributor of fluid power and power transmission components,
in particular air motors and starters, air valves, filters, regulators, lubricators, cylinders, and gearboxes.
Air motors are multi-purpose tools used to provide rotary movement or mechanical automation in a variety of applications,
such as winches, tuggers, conveyors and pumps. The objective of an air motor is to produce enough power to overcome
a specified torque level and operate at a desired rpm range. PSI customizes each application to meet its customer's
needs. Its customer base includes petroleum, chemical, aerospace, automotive, mining, entertainment, assembly line
automation and other types of manufacturing and processing companies.
CLAEDF member Joe Barlow said, "PSI's decision to join CLAEDF, combined with their enthusiasm to be a part
of the continuing development of the Clear Lake area, is an enhancement to the existing membership of the foundation."
